Ingredients 
  • 1 small beet (washed and trimmed)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries; fresh or frozen)
  • 1 medium carrot
  • ½ small apple


Steps
  1. Wash all produce thoroughly. Peel the beet if desired (depending on your slow juicer’s capability), and peel the apple if you prefer less bitterness.
  2. Cut the beet, carrot, and apple into chunks.
  3. Feed all ingredients through your juicer. For beets, feed them slowly to ensure maximum nutrient extraction.
