Ingredients 
  • Red Beet -- 1 medium (120g, scrubbed well)
  • Carrots -- 2 medium (120g)
  • Celery -- 3 stalks (120g)
  • Green Apple -- 1 medium (180g)
  • Lemon -- ½ fruit (peeled)
  • Fresh Ginger -- 1 cm piece


Steps
  1. Prep: Wash all produce thoroughly. Remove the greens from the beet (optional, but recommended for a smoother taste). Cut the beet, apple, and lemon into wedges that fit your juicer chute.
  2. Juice: Feed the ginger and beet first, followed by the carrots, celery, lemon, and finally the apple to flush the rest of the juice through.
  3. Finish: Stir the juice gently.
  4. Serve: Pour over a glass filled with ice cubes. Do not put ice in the juicer. Enjoy immediately for the best flavor and nutrient retention.


Tips & Variations
  • Beginner Tip: If you find the earthy taste of beets too strong, peel the beet before juicing or add an extra half of an apple.
  • Zest it up: Leave a little bit of the lemon peel on for extra aromatic oils, but ensure it is washed well.
