Health Benefits:  This juice is a nutritional powerhouse. Kale provides a massive dose of Vitamin K for bone health and Vitamin C for immunity. Pineapple contains bromelain, an enzyme that aids digestion and reduces inflammation. The Banana adds potassium for heart health and gives the juice a creamy texture that soothes the stomach lining.


Ingredients 
  • Fresh Pineapple -- ¼ fruit (approx. 1 cup chunks / 165g, skin and core removed)
  • Kale Leaves -- 4 large leaves (approx. 60g)
  • Ripe Banana -- 1 medium (118g, peeled)


Steps
  1. Prep: Peel the banana. Remove the skin and core from the pineapple and cut the flesh into 1-inch strips. Wash the kale leaves thoroughly.
  2. Juice: Feed the kale and pineapple through your slow juicer first. Finish by feeding the banana through.
    • Note: A masticating (slow) juicer is required for this recipe to properly process the banana and extract juice from the kale.
  3. Serve: Pour into a mason jar. Serve over ice if desired, but do not put ice in the machine.

 

Tips & Variations
  • Add Zest: Squeeze a wedge of lime into the finished juice to cut through the sweetness.
  • Texture: If you want it even creamier, you can blend the banana with the pineapple/kale juice in a blender instead of running it through the juicer.
  • Green Swap: If you find kale too fibrous, spinach is a milder alternative that works well with pineapple.
