Ingredients 
  • 1 large handful (about 1 cup) of fresh spinach
  • ½ medium cucumber
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 small Granny Smith apple
  • ½ lemon (peeled)
  • A 1-inch piece of fresh ginger


Steps
  1. Rinse all produce thoroughly. Core the apples and peel the lemon and ginger.
  2. Cut the cucumber, celery, apple, lemon, and ginger into sizes that fit your slow juicer’s feed chute.
  3. Feed the ingredients slowly into your slow juicer. Alternate softer items (spinach) with firmer ones (apple, ginger) to optimize extraction.
  4. Stir the extracted juice and serve immediately over ice if desired.
